Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to paid purchases made on Turnscribe: the Basic and Pro subscriptions and add-on transcription packs. It does not apply to the free Starter or Free plans, which have no charge.

1. Payment Processor

All payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar"), our reseller and Merchant of Record. Polar handles billing, invoicing, and payment collection on our behalf, and their own buyer terms and refund rules may also apply to your purchase. 2. Basic and Pro Subscriptions
  • You can cancel your Basic or Pro subscription at any time from Plan & Billing in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period -- you keep access until then, and you will not be charged again.
  • We do not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period once it has started.
  • If you are a first-time Basic or Pro subscriber and believe you were charged in error, or you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial charge by contacting us at [email protected].
3. Add-on Transcription Packs
  • Add-on packs credit extra, non-expiring transcriptions to your account, consumed only after your monthly plan quota is used up.
  • You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided the credited transcriptions from that pack have not yet been used.
  • Once any part of a pack's credits has been used, that pack is no longer eligible for a refund.
4. How to Request a Refund

Contact us at [email protected] with your account email and the date of the charge. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued back to your original payment method via Polar and may take several business days to appear on your statement.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
